City Raccoons

I go to Madison for a day, and this is what they show me.  Out here on the farm, we don’t “rehabilitate” raccoons.  And we don’t ask them politely to leave, either…

  1. ugh..damn it those liberal city folk in madison are ruining it. raccoons = farm terrorists.

  2. Elizabeth, I was really enjoying the blog and website until I got to this picture. I am sure they are quite “cute.” But please promise me you won’t handle any more raccoons. They are known for being very viscious and carrying bad diseases, including rabies. Stick to the turkeys, chickens, and dog/cats.

  3. Aunt Teresa–we were all under the supervision of a veterinarian, I promise! She was taking care of the raccoons for a short time before carting them off to the countryside.
